John Parkhouse

John Parkhouse is President at Carne Group, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience in the European funds industry. He leads the Global Executive Committee and is responsible for executing group strategy, ensuring a client-led focus as Carne continues to expand its capabilities globally.

Before joining Carne, he spent nearly three decades at PwC, where he became one of Luxembourg’s most influential financial services leaders. John served as CEO and Territory Senior Partner of PwC Luxembourg from 2014 to 2023, leading over 3,000 professionals and driving the firm’s digital and strategic transformation. Prior to that, he was PwC’s EMEA Asset & Wealth Management Leader, advising global asset managers on cross‑border fund structures, regulation, and industry change.

He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand in the UK, later working in New York before relocating to Luxembourg in 1994. John is a Qualified Chartered Accountant in both the UK and Luxembourg.
