Over four days and 440km, 40 Carne colleagues cycled from Luxembourg to Paris in support of the international charity Save the Children whose mission is to ensure that no child is left behind. Our team of cyclists faced heat, hills and headwinds—driven by a shared belief that together we can make a difference, and in the knowledge that every kilometre brought them closer to achieving that goal. 

This year, we set ourselves a target of raising €100,000. What happened next was extraordinary. Across offices, time zones and teams, people came together—donating, fundraising, encouraging, and showing up in all the ways that matter. We didn’t just pass the finish line—we surpassed our goal, thanks to the generosity of over 850 donators, raising €120,000.
Together, change happens faster—and this milestone proves it. 

But this wasn’t just about those on the bikes. It was the colleagues who organised bake sales, the teams who shared updates, the friends and families who gave generously, and the many who followed along and cheered us on. It was a team effort in every sense—and a testament to what we can achieve when we move forward together. 

Now in its second iteration, the Vélocity charity cycle has become more than just a fundraising event. It’s a symbol of Carne’s values in action: tenacity, togetherness, and a belief in being a force for good.
