What is GDPR? The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) governs the collection, storage and processing of data. It is designed to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals in the European Union. The regulation comes into force on 25th May 2018 and firms must be compliant by this date. GDPR introduces a new principle
